Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing precise technical drawings and plans that support engineering and construction projects. This is a full-time, two-year contract position, offering competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on provided specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop designs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate necessary revisions, changes, and updates.
Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and quality specifications.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of drafts, revisions, and approvals.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, materials, and regulations to enhance drafting practices.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: AED 1,500 – 1,800 per month (performance-based increases)
Provisions: Accommodation, transportation, visa, and medical insurance provided
Off Days: 1 day off per week (Sunday)
Vacation: Return flight ticket provided after 2 years of service
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in drafting or a related field
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other drafting tools
Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and industry regulations
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues
English proficiency required
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Additional Information:
Duty Schedule: 8 hours per day, with overtime as necessary
