One of our clients in the insurance sector, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is looking to hire a Sales Director.
About the Role
Drive revenue growth for the company by managing and building a high-performing and productive team that will efficiently achieve and exceed the company-set targets.
Develop and execute effective strategies that would explore and tap new opportunities with existing and new clients.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve the company’s goals of sales targets and market share in all regions.
Explore and develop opportunities in all regions for both corporate and SME clients.
Assist the sales team in turning these opportunities into materialized deals.
Ensure that the sales team is building and maintaining relationships with clients, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor policy performance to ensure a renewal persistency of not less than 90%.
Hire new sales team members as per the company’s annual plan and target.
Continuously monitor sales team performance and identify areas of strength and weakness.
Lead, coach, guide, direct, support, and manage the sales team.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, prepare sales reports, and provide insights to the sales team to improve performance.
Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) to identify areas of improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, such as technical, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth sales operations.
Provide management with the required sales analysis that would help and assist in taking appropriate decisions and corrective measures if needed.
Take responsibility for personal and sales team development in line with agreed annual performance objectives.
Provide management with precise periodical reports that highlight cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
Ensure customer centricity in everything you do.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, management, or a related field. An MBA will be a plus.
IFCE certification; preferably ACII/CII certification.
Minimum 3-5 years in a similar position with a proven track record.
Familiarity with industry-specific software, technology, and tools, such as CRM systems and ERP software.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
English language fluency.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary is attractive, and there will be a commission as well.
