JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Coordinate with different departments, including design, production, and estimation teams, to ensure that projects progress smoothly.
2. Supervise the staff at site during implementation phase of the project and monitor workflow.
3. Participate in technical discussions and attend meetings with suppliers/contractors at the site or office.
4. Monitor all the projects from the design phase until the final handover.
5. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results to the management.
6. Conduct factory visits to ensure that the finishes of custom furniture items are done per company standards before delivery and installation at the site.
7. Conduct quality control inspections at the site and factory throughout the project to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
8. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within the budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
9. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
10. Researches and negotiates with factories, contractors, and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.
11. Maintains working relationship with union members and representatives by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
13. Ability to review designs, drawings and work closely with the design department to ensure production objectives are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously when required but also collaboratively and effectively within and across teams and offices.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisor or managerial role within interior design or manufacturing.
3. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and project management tools.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
7. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, and a keen ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
8. Valid UAE Driving License is a must.
9. Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Additional certifications in Project Management are a plus.
