The Data & Risk Analyst will have experience in payment gateway industry and play a key role in analyzing system data, formulating data risk control rules, and ensuring that our merchant transactions are secure and compliant with regulations.
Should have an understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze system data and merchant transactions to identify potential risks and compliance issues
2. Formulate data risk control rules to monitor transactions and ensure compliance with regulations
3. Check abnormal data and test merchant websites to assess potential vulnerabilities
4. Enter merchant information, including merchant website and test accounts, to facilitate monitoring of transaction activity
5. Collaborate with internal teams to implement risk control measures and monitor merchant activity
6. Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to the fin-tech sector
7. Provide regular reports on risk assessment and mitigation efforts to senior management
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field
2. An understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
3. 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the financial services industry
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills5. Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python,
6. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
