Description
Job Purpose:
Driving store sales by delivering excellent customer service, promoting products effectively, and supporting basic optical understanding, while ensuring smooth and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products (frames, sunglasses, basic lenses).
- Drive conversion, upselling, Cross-Selling and promotions execution.
- Achieving individual sales targets and supporting store performance.
- Deliver a friendly and professional customer journey.
- Handle customer inquiries and basic issues effectively.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Understand basic prescriptions and product types (frames, lenses, CL).
- Support opticians by guiding customers before technical handling.
- Ensure correct communication of customer needs to optician/technician.
- Process transactions accurately through POS system.
- Support insurance documentation and basic inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain product display and cleanliness standards.
- Support stock handling and report shortages or issues.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and promotions awareness.
- Work with team to achieve store targets.
- Support opticians and technicians during peak hours.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic store environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional and ethical behavior.
- Ensure adherence to customer service and brand standards.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
Requirements
Skills And Abilities
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of optical products and prescriptions.
- Good knowledge of POS systems and sales processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
Experience
- 2–4 years in retail sales (optical preferred).
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably related field).
Language
- Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
