Job Summary:
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance with local regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage drivers, coordinate vehicle assignments, and ensure efficiency in fleet operations while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the allocation and scheduling of company vehicles.
Ensure fleet availability to meet operational requirements while minimizing downtime.
Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and driver performance.
Track and analyze fleet performance data to optimize efficiency.
Ensure all vehicles undergo regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs as per company policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, permits, etc.).
Coordinate with workshops and service providers for timely maintenance.
Implement safety protocols and ensure all vehicles comply with traffic laws and company policies.
Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers to ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Address driver concerns, disciplinary issues, and performance-related matters.
Conduct briefings and training sessions for drivers regarding road safety and operational updates.
Monitor operational expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement strategies to reduce fleet-related costs without compromising service quality.
Ensure proper utilization of GPS tracking systems and fleet management software to improve efficiency.
Generate reports on vehicle performance, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and driver efficiency.
Maintained detailed records of fleet operations and presented insights to management for decision-making.
Identify potential risks and recommend improvements to fleet policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet supervision, preferably in the UAE market.
Strong understanding of UAE road and transportation regulations.
Proficiency in fleet management systems and GPS tracking tools.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,500.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
