Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant supports the sales team in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store operations, and achieving sales targets. This role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product selection and provide accurate information about products and services
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and store goals
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Prepare sales reports and support administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Proven experience in retail or sales (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
