We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
Develop plans for construction, including the layout, materials, dimensions, and specifications.
Collaborate with civil engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Review and verify design plans and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and practicality.
Create detailed drawings for project phases including grading, drainage, utilities, and road layouts.
Maintain and update project documentation and drawings.
Coordinate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure proper implementation of designs.
Perform site visits to gather relevant data and verify existing conditions when necessary.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience as a Draftsman in the civil engineering field, with a solid understanding of civil design principles in UAE or GCC.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software.
Strong understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, and other team members.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
