Safety Officer – Fire & Safety Company Jobs in Dubai at MAF FIRE MIDDLE EAST LLC
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular fire and safety inspections at offices, facilities, and project sites.
- Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and implement Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
- Inspect and monitor fire protection systems such as:
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire alarm systems
- Fire pumps and hydrants
- Sprinkler systems
- Emergency lighting
- Fire doors and related equipment
- Ensure employees use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency-response training.
- Organize and participate in fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Monitor hot work, working at height, electrical work, confined-space work, and other high-risk activities.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Safety Officer / Fire & Safety certification is preferred.
- Experience in fire protection, HSE, construction, facilities management, or industrial safety is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of fire prevention, emergency procedures, risk assessment, and workplace safety.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies.
