WE ARE HIRING – SAFETY OFFICER
New State Services Company (NSS) is looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
Position: Safety OfficerRequirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory).
- NEBOSH IGC Certification (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and incident investigations.
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and audits.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Transferable visa with NOC is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor safe work practices and the proper use of PPE.
- Prepare safety reports, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Coordinate with site management and client representatives on all HSE matters.
