Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
Monitor daily work activities to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Assist in implementing the project’s HSE management system and safety plans.
Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns for workers.
Ensure employees use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
Report, investigate, and document incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant health and safety certification (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, aviation, or airport projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
