Responsibilities
- Support the development of OHS policies and programs
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Create, review, and update policies and measures, and update according to legislation
- Initiate and organize OHS training for employees and executives
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment)
- Oversee installation maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle workers’ compensation claims
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to the department concerned
- Represent the company on matters regarding HSE on client facing platforms
- Conduct trainings to the workforce
- Frequent inspections on site and share all unsafe acts and conditions to respective contractors
- Root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action planning
- Proficiency with MS Office and risk assessment software
- Strong presentation, reporting and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory compliance (local & international)
- Knowledge on lighting and solar works
Requirements
- More than 6 years working in a multi-project environment (total experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, occupational safety, or a related field (Master’s degree desirable)
- NEBOSH IGC (Professional certification)
- Strong presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills; data analysis related to safety
- DL (Driver’s License) required
