Job Summary
A qualified Safety Officer is sought, possessing NEBOSH certification and proven experience in industrial projects to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, identify workplace hazards, and promote a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to employees.
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain HSE documentation and safety records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Experience in industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
