Job Description:
Our Active Fire Department is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to supervise and support site activities and ensure full compliance with HSE standards across construction projects.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of construction field experience (GCC experience accepted; UAE experience preferred)
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or above
- UAE Driving License is mandatory
- Good working knowledge of office software (MS Word, Excel, reporting tools)
- Strong understanding and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and documentation/binding
- Ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety training
- Good communication and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and applicable regulations
- Monitor site activities and enforce safe working practices
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation and reports
- Investigate incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and management
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month, based on experience
