Job Description:
As an Elementary Homeroom Teacher at Diyar Private Academy, Dibba you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment for young students. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality learning experiences, promoting student engagement, and fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality of Learning: Plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons that promote active learning and critical thinking skills. Use assessment data to track student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
2. Conditions for Learning: Establish positive relationships with students and parents to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
3. Developing Learning in and beyond the Classroom: Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth. Celebrate student achievements and share examples of outstanding learning with colleagues.
4. Evaluating Learning: Implement assessment strategies to monitor student learning and progress. Reflect on teaching practices and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional effectiveness.
5. Evaluating Curriculum and Assessment: Contribute to the review and enhancement of the elementary curriculum based on student learning data. Provide guidance and support to colleagues in curriculum implementation and assessment practices.
6. Professional Development: Continuously strive to improve teaching practices and pedagogical skills. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement peer professional development programs.

Qualifications:
– Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country (with attestation and equivalency)
– MOE Approval
– Bachelor or Masters Degree
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Understanding:
– Strong understanding of elementary education principles and practices
– Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
– Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– High standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
– Willingness to challenge decisions that do not support student learning
