Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe work environment. This role includes carrying out regular site inspections, coordinating safety drills, and ensuring all staff and contractors are properly trained in health and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will hold recognized safety certifications and have a solid understanding of workplace safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct routine site inspections and risk assessments.
Coordinate emergency response drills and deliver safety briefings.
Provide safety inductions and training to new employees and contractors.
Support compliance with relevant health and safety standards (NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, etc.).
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
NEBOSH IGC, KAWADER, and OSHA certifications required.
Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a safety role.
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
