Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor aviation safety and environmental policies in accordance with regulatory standards and international best practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental programs, including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
- Oversee the safe operation of airside vehicles and the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Respond to hazardous material incidents and coordinate emergency containment and cleanup activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, emergency drills, evacuations, and incident investigations.
- Prepare incident reports and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate safety and environmental documentation and records.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and emergency response teams during inspections and emergencies.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff by setting objectives, identifying training needs, and monitoring performance.
- Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures and prepare progress reports as required.
