Company Profile
Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a joint venture between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems, building a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City with a production capacity of 120,000 MT/year. As we transition into full operations, safety is our top priority — and we are looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer to embed a strong HSE culture across our plant.
What You'll Do
▸ Develop, implement, and enforce HSE management systems, policies, and procedures in line with OSHA, local regulations, and company standards
▸ Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and process hazard reviews for plant operations
▸ Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action tracking
▸ Plan and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors
▸ Perform regular safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks across all plant areas
▸ Manage permit-to-work systems including hot work, confined space entry, LOTO, and working at height
▸ Prepare HSE performance reports and support regulatory inspections and certifications
What We're Looking For
▸ Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
▸ 3–6 years of HSE experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
▸ Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and Saudi labor safety regulations
▸ Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CSP is highly preferred
▸ Proven experience in incident investigation and risk management
▸ Excellent communication, reporting, and training delivery skills
