Title: Safety Engineer

Location: Ushairat Sudair, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Role Purpose:
To implement and oversee safety measures across operations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Accountabilities:
Design and implement safety procedures and programs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, performing root cause analyses and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with the QHSE team and other departments to address safety concerns and improve safety practices across all operations.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including audit reports, inspection records, and incident reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees, ensuring they are informed about best practices and emergency procedures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented safety measures, recommending adjustments to enhance workplace safety and risk prevention.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging safety technologies, integrating improvements into safety protocols as necessary.
Role Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in a safety engineering or similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or QHSE environment.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and risk assessment practices.
Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
Proficiency in safety management systems and incident investigation techniques.
