JOB TITLE
P2P Accountant | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance
ROLE SUMMARY
The role involves managing assigned Accounts Payable processes, including approving entries and supporting General Ledger activities. Additionally, the position is responsible for contributing to the preparation of Financial Statements for the entities.
ROLE PROFILE
Support in closing annual payable transactions.
Maintain vendor accounts in compliance with company policy.
Review payment requests from various departments to ensure alignment with policies and procedures.
Responsible for vendor account reconciliations and follow-up actions.
Review staff Travel and Expense reimbursement claims according to company policy.
Monitor and address aging vendor issues on a monthly basis.
Process invoices and payments as assigned by the purchase to pay Process Lead Manager.
Resolve supplier queries and complaints, escalating when necessary, and support internal/external audits.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is required, along with advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
At least 2+ years of experience in a Finance Department, including some exposure to the AP function.
Strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with fluency in English.
