Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate Russian language lessons for nursery-aged children.
Introduce children to basic Russian vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, and early literacy skills.
Use play-based learning methods, including songs, storytelling, rhymes, games, arts and crafts, and interactive activities.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children to develop confidence in using the Russian language.
Prepare weekly and daily lesson plans and teaching resources in line with the nursery curriculum and children's developmental needs.
Observe, assess, and record children's language development and progress.
Adapt activities to meet the individual learning needs and abilities of each child.
Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and communication development through engaging learning experiences.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
Ensure the health, safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and participation.
Work closely with the Nursery Manager, teachers, and teaching assistants to support a collaborative learning environment.
Participate in nursery events, celebrations, parent meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed.
