RTG Mechanical Technician (Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane) Jobs in الرياض at hire wise
We are hiring an experienced RTG Mechanical Technician to carry out maintenance and repair activities on Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes operating in container terminals. Candidates must have previous port equipment maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on RTG cranes.
* Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, gearboxes, and lifting mechanisms.
* Inspect wire ropes, spreaders, wheels, bogies, and structural components.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
* Replace faulty mechanical parts and perform equipment overhauls.
* Maintain maintenance logs and inspection reports.
* Work closely with electrical technicians during troubleshooting.
* Follow HSE regulations and company maintenance procedures.
Requirements
* Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* *Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an RTG Mechanical Technician.*
* *Mandatory experience in ports, container terminals, or marine terminals.*
* Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and heavy mechanical systems.
* Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
* Good communication skills and ability to work rotating shifts.
Pay: Up to ﷼3,000.00 per month
