About the Role & Opportunity
The RPA Automation Specialist is responsible for identifying inefficiencies, optimizing financial processes, and driving automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves conducting gap analysis, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implementing automation solutions to improve finance workflows, reduce manual efforts, and ensure compliance with best practices.
Analyze and improve finance workflows, policies, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, while developing and maintaining comprehensive SOPs to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency.
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define best practices and establish KPIs for process performance tracking.
Conduct gap analysis to identify automation opportunities in areas like Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Expense Management, and Tax Compliance.
Develop a roadmap for automation, prioritizing projects based on timelines and expected ROI, ensuring alignment with the company’s digital transformation goals.
Identify and deploy automation solutions, including RPA, ERP integrations, AI, OCR, and workflow platforms, while collaborating with IT and external vendors for smooth implementation.
Create automated financial dashboards and improve reporting accuracy, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessments through AI-driven analytics.
Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct risk assessments, and provide training for finance teams on new automated processes.
About the Skills, Education & Experience Required
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in finance process automation, digital transformation, or financial operations. Hands-on experience with RPA, AI-based finance solutions, and workflow automation is essential.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications in RPA tools, ERP systems, or Data Analytics (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, SAP FI Certification, Power BI Certification) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of finance operations, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Net Suite) and BI/reporting tools.
