Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Rotating Equipment Inspector to inspect, monitor, and ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of rotating equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong inspection expertise, sound knowledge of international standards, and hands-on experience with rotating machinery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and motors during installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable international codes.
- Perform and review inspections using NDT methods such as MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI.
- Review engineering drawings, inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Monitor equipment alignment, installation, testing, and operational readiness.
- Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and prepare inspection reports.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety procedures, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of inspection activities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) with 4+ years of inspection experience; OR
- Two-year Industrial/Technical Diploma with 8+ years of relevant inspection experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Pipeline industry.
- Proven experience in the inspection, design, and operation of rotating equipment.
- Good knowledge of NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI).
- Familiarity with international standards, particularly API 686.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and inspection procedures.
- Valid Saudi Driving Licence (Mandatory).
- Local transfer candidates preferred.
