Position: Rotating Equipment Engineer (Senior Mechanical Engineer)
Responsibilities
- To provide expertise in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, seals) supporting leak management and plant reliability.
- Monitor and maintain rotating equipment integrity and performance.
- Develop maintenance strategies for pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery.
- Troubleshoot vibration, lubrication, sealing, and alignment issues.
- Support failure investigations and corrective action plans.
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with API standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in oil & gas.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, gas turbines, and associated systems.
- Familiarity with API codes and relevant standards.
- Strong problem-solving and reliability engineering skills.
Salary
- Monthly Rate in QAR (All inclusive)
Work Schedule
- 8 Hours / 5 Days
Duration
- 18 Months, with possible extension
