Rollup Door Technician Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Lean Synergy Staffing
Perform the following inspections as specified: annual inspections and service on all overhead rollup and sectional doors, Air Base rollup doors, sectional doors, and hangar doors. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure reliable and safe operation of all doors. The maintenance work shall be in accordance with all commercial best practices, manufacturer’s specifications, and US Air Force specific PMTL guidance. Tasks include lubrication of gearboxes, clearing tracks and chains, checking door curtains or panels for defects, worn or broken parts, weather seals, springs and cable tension, condition of springs and cables, limit switches, motor or gearbox leaks, door alignment, binding, leveling, safety devices, safety edges, safety lens devices (‘cat eyes’), wiring of control and motor circuits, and proper door operation and adjustment.
This is a 100% overseas assignment with potential for various environments, including austere or wartime conditions. Shift work, overtime, and exposure to challenging elements may be required.

U.S. Government Secret Clearance Required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) tasks—including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections—on all overhead roll-up and sectional doors, ensuring proper adjustments, timely repairs, and replacement of broken or unserviceable components.
Execute scheduled maintenance and repair activities in accordance with established PM schedules and manufacturer specifications to maintain equipment functionality and reliability.
Accurately document all maintenance and repair actions using the CE Nex Gen IT (Tririga) system or its successor, ensuring traceability and compliance.
Adhere to safety programs aligned with Vectrus, OSHA, and USAF safety regulations, promoting safety and risk mitigation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Participate in ongoing technical training for safety and operational proficiency.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and security of all tools, equipment, and facilities.
Complete timesheets accurately and timely.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support contractual obligations and operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Journeyman card for respective trade via recognized apprentice program, state certification, or evidence of passing ICC certification exam (electrician, HVAC, plumber, etc.), or documented military journeyman experience (DD214).
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Passport, hold a valid U.S. SECRET security clearance, and accept a full-time overseas assignment. High School Diploma required. Must understand safety directives, possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License (manual transmission), and communicate in English. Must pass a flight line access test and employment/deployment qualifications, including medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, and CBRN training with fit testing of protective gear.
Other Requirements:
Primarily indoor work, with outdoor support as needed.
Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals likely.
Overtime and shift work may be required.
Prepared to operate in wartime environments to support U.S. interests.
Preferred Skills:
Air Force Civil Engineering experience (3E3X1) highly preferred.
Overseas deployment or work experience preferred.
Veterans highly preferred.
Total Compensation: $94,000 – $96,000
