We are one of the leading companies in the insurance industry in the GCC and MENA region.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an adequate risk management framework including risk management policies in line with the business and regulatory requirements.
Ensure risk appetite & tolerances monitoring is undertaken and produce regular Management reports for deviations and remedial actions.
Ensure that entities risk registers are maintained and risk/control profile reports are produced timely, in alignment with the risk framework along with periodical risk attestations.
Develop and manage risk dashboards to monitor risk and controls, providing alerts on deviations and support management information.
Meet with Department Heads to review the risk and control environments, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and incorporate related recommendations.
Ensure the ORSA process and reporting is undertaken in line with regulatory requirements.
Manage the activities related to the execution of stress and scenario testing across a variety of risk categories in order to ensure a high level of readiness vis-Ã -vis the various scenarios.
Ensure that key risks for the Company are identified, reviewed, effectively managed and reported upon.
Prepare the risk management reporting for the Board and Management Committee of the Company.
Ensure Business Continuity plans are maintained, tested and outcomes are reported.
Provide training to the business on risk and control matters in order to increase business awareness and assist in establishing a risk culture within the entities.
Stay abreast of trends and advances in global insurance risk management to improve the existing framework and facilitate minimization of risk impact through enhancing awareness.
Experience:
The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Risk Management field within the Insurance industry.
Qualification:
The candidate should have a Risk Management Qualification.
The candidate may have an MBA or Insurance Qualification.
The candidate withChartered Accountant, CMA or CPAqualification is preferred.
