We are seeking a skilled and experienced Risk Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring risk management excellence on an airport construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As a Risk Manager at WSP, you will lead comprehensive risk assessments for large-scale infrastructure projects, including road, bridge, highway, tunnel, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Identify potential risks and opportunities, evaluating their impact on project objectives.
Formulate risk mitigation measures and contingency plans to address identified risks.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management strategies into project plans and execution.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate risk findings and mitigation plans to project stakeholders.
Prepare and present detailed risk reports and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure that risk management practices comply with international standards and industry best practices.
Stay updated on emerging trends and regulatory changes in the infrastructure sector.
Lead and mentor junior risk management staff and provide guidance on best practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated risk management across all project phases.
Project Monitoring & Evaluation:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Adjust risk management plans as necessary to address evolving project conditions and challenges.
We’re Looking for Individuals with:
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
Skills:
Proven expertise in identifying and mitigating risks in infrastructure projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
