Job Description
Job Purpose:
Will ensure that all risks are recognized and managed in a manner that minimizes their financial impact, enabling the company to efficiently and cost-effectively reduce losses, address business problems proactively, and manage exposure across diverse operational and system environments.
Job Accountabilities:
Strategic
Assist the Head of Unit in formulating the Panda – Enterprise Risk Management Strategy, including budgeting and planning, covering business systems, operational processes, financial and accounting systems, and risk management.
Coordinate annual risk assessments and update them based on changes to company objectives and challenges.
Coordinate with the Audit Division to utilize resources effectively, manage priorities, and maintain responsiveness and proactivity.
Assist in evaluating new or changing services, processes, and controls during development, implementation, and expansion.
Ensure all audit activities comply with The IIA’s International Standards and Panda standards, maintaining high ethical standards.
Planning
Coordinate the preparation of the Risk Assurance plan aligning with organizational objectives.
Assist in developing the annual audit plan, conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks, define scope, and establish audit priorities.
Operational
Support the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide risk management policies and procedures.
Work with business units to establish, maintain, and improve risk management capabilities, acting as a champion for risk initiatives.
Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments and monitor priority risks.
Assist in implementing risk reporting to senior management.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to Risk Assurance and internal audit staff.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Risk Assurance team and improve performance.
Stay informed on current trends, laws, regulations, and standards affecting risk management and internal audit.
Maintain professional relationships across all levels of staff and management.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Key competencies include risk management, governance, compliance, data analysis, audit reporting, communication, and project management.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
