RIGGING FOREMAN
- Responsible for managing a team of Riggers for all types of lifts being carried out to ensure
- they are executed in a safe and professional manner. (This includes Banksman / Crane Operators).
- Ensure compliance of COMPANY / QSGTL policies and procedures related to Lifting and Rigging
- 3.5 years previous Heavy Lift & Manual Rigging experience in the position working in the Oil and Gas industry
- A total of 5 years’ experience in Lifting & Hoisting, Manual Rigging, using ALL types of Lifting Equipment & Lifting Gears.
- Able to provide / demonstrate past experience from previous projects.
- Must hold a current QSGTL recognized Rigging / Lifting & Banksman Certificate from a recognized training provider (Refer to R-0000003254 for list).
- Must be able to communicate with the majority manpower in their language.(CONTRACTOR to be able demonstrate to COMPANY.).
- Capable of inspecting the slings, wire ropes, hooks and lifting gears for damages, and how to report such findings if defects are found
- Must be able to examine the loads, estimate the size and weight
- Expert knowledge with communication methods, (hand signals, radios etc)
- Knowledge of Hazards / Risks and the required mitigations required for safe lifting
- Rigging / Lifting Foreman will also be expected to carryout any additional (including Hand
- On approach) tasks as directed by COMPANY as and when required.
- Duration: 4 months extendable
