JOB OVERVIEW
Absolute Gymnastics is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. The successful candidate will lead rhythmic gymnastics sessions for participants across different age groups and ability levels, helping them develop flexibility, coordination, body control, musicality, and apparatus-handling skills.
The role requires a coach who can create structured and enjoyable training sessions while supporting individual progression and, where applicable, preparing gymnasts for performances, assessments, and competitions.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Rhythmic Gymnastics Instruction :
Deliver engaging sessions covering core rhythmic gymnastics skills, including body movements, flexibility, balance, coordination, leaps, turns, jumps, and apparatus work.
2. Apparatus Training :
Teach and develop correct techniques for rhythmic gymnastics apparatus such as ribbon, hoop, ball, clubs, and rope, according to the participant’s age and skill level.
3. Individual Skill Development :
Identify each gymnast’s strengths and areas for improvement and provide appropriate coaching, demonstrations, and feedback to support steady progression.
4. Safety & Equipment :
Check that training areas and apparatus are suitable for use and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment throughout each session.
5. Competition & Performance Preparation :
Prepare gymnasts for demonstrations, showcases, assessments, competitions, and other performance opportunities where required.
6. Parent & Participant Communication :
Maintain clear and professional communication with parents and participants regarding progress, training expectations, upcoming activities, and performances.
7. Program Participation :
Support gymnastics camps, school programs, events, and other initiatives organized by the academy.
8. Team Collaboration :
Work alongside other coaches and academy staff to maintain consistent coaching standards and contribute to the development of the gymnastics program.
9. Professional Representation :
Promote a positive image of the organization through professional conduct, quality coaching, punctuality, and a strong commitment to participant development.
10. Reporting Structure :
Reports directly to the Academy Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognized Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaching Qualification from a reputable governing body or training institution.
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience
- Valid Iqama/ National ID
- Child Safeguarding Training certificate
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Police Clearance certificate
Core Skills:
- Strong understanding of rhythmic gymnastics techniques and training principles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience coaching athletes from beginner through competitive levels.
- Good organization and session planning abilities.
