Subcontracts Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Role Overview: Lead and oversee the administration of post-award subcontracts for a multi-billion-dollar oil & gas plant project, ensuring compliance, cost control, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of subcontract administration, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and closeout.
Lead contract performance reviews, risk assessments, and dispute resolution strategies.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, cost control measures, and change management processes.
Oversee claims management and contract interpretation to safeguard project interests.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align contractual execution with project objectives.
Provide guidance on contractual best practices and mentor the subcontracts team.
Required Expertise: Exceptional command of English, deep understanding of EPC contract frameworks, and extensive experience in claims management.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering or Construction. 20+ Years of total experience in contracts / subcontracts management of which minimum of 5+ years of experience as Subcontracts Manager and 5+ years of claims management.
