Position Overview
As a Florist Designer at DiaFlower, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral designs and collections for events, daily orders, and seasonal offerings. The ideal candidate is a skilled and artistic individual with an eye for detail and a love for florals. You will work closely with our team and clients to bring imaginative floral designs to life, offering your creativity, expertise, and passion for floristry.
Key Responsibilities
Design Creation: Develop innovative and visually appealing floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, corporate functions, special occasions, and daily orders.
Collection Development: Curate seasonal and themed floral collections, ensuring they reflect current design trends and client preferences.
Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their floral needs, style preferences, and budget, providing tailored design solutions.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the quality and availability of floral inventory, ensuring the studio has a wide range of fresh flowers and supplies.
Arrangement Production: Assemble and create floral designs using the highest quality flowers and materials while adhering to deadlines.
Event Setup & Delivery: Assist with the setup and installation of floral arrangements at events or venues as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside other florists and team members to ensure smooth operations and seamless execution of designs.
Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest floral design trends, color palettes, and event décor to keep our designs fresh and innovative.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a florist, floral designer, or in a similar creative role.
Strong knowledge of floral design principles, flower varieties, and arrangement techniques.
Ability to create diverse and imaginative floral collections that appeal to a wide range of clients.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for design.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability to work on various types of projects and styles.
A passion for flowers and floral design!
Preferred Qualifications
Formal training or certification in floristry or floral design.
Experience in event floristry or large-scale floral installations.
