Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Planning:

▪ Develop comprehensive landscape design plans, including conceptual layouts, planting plans, and hardscape designs.

▪ Create detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and models using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

▪ Incorporate environmental considerations, such as water conservation, native plant selection, and sustainability, into the design.

2. Client Consultation:

▪ Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for the outdoor space.

▪ Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback to refine the final design.

▪ Provide expert advice on plant selection, landscape materials, and maintenance considerations.

3. Site Analysis:

▪ Conduct thorough site assessments to understand the physical characteristics of the site, including soil conditions, climate, topography, drainage, and existing vegetation.

▪ Identify any potential challenges or constraints, such as zoning regulations, environmental impact, or budget limitations, and develop solutions to address them.

4. Collaboration with project team:

▪ Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate landscape designs with building projects and infrastructure.

▪ Coordinate with horticulturists and nurseries to select appropriate plants, trees, and shrubs that suit the site conditions and design intent.

▪ Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

5. Documentation and Specifications:

▪ Prepare detailed planting plans, including plant species, quantities, and placement, as well as hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and water features.

▪ Develop construction documents, including grading plans, irrigation plans, and material specifications, to guide the installation process.

▪ Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, codes, and environmental standards.

6. Project Management:

▪ Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring that the construction aligns with the design intent and quality standards.

▪ Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation.

▪ Address any issues that arise during construction, adjusting the design or materials as necessary.

▪ Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in sustainable landscape design.

Qualifications:

▪ Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) or Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA)

▪ Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

▪ Stay Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and GIS (Geographic Information System) tools.

▪ Knowledge of horticulture, plant science, and sustainable design practices.

▪ Immediate joiner is preferred
