Yana Restaurant is looking for a professional and welcoming Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a positive first impression, manage reservations efficiently, and ensure smooth table flow during service. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience aligned with our service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Manage reservations and walk-ins effectively
- Coordinate table seating to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate waitlists and provide realistic wait times
- Communicate clearly with the FOH team regarding table status and guest needs
- Handle guest inquiries, both in person and over the phone
- Ensure the reception and entrance area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Assist in managing special requests, VIP guests, and peak service periods
- Support the service team when needed to maintain smooth operations
