Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Cash Officer Cum Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash transactions, performing accounting duties, and providing administrative support with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage cash transactions, including handling customer payments, making changes, and balancing the cash register.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date cash records, including cash receipts, cash payments, and cash balances.
3. Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash transactions.
4. Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
5. Process accounts receivable transactions, including generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
7. Assist with audits, including providing documentation and responding to audit queries.
8. Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
9. Provide administrative support.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor degree
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in cash handling, data entry, or administrative role
Skills:
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
– Experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is an added advantage.
– Strong data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
