Restaurant General Manager | French Speaker

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead the launch of a renowned international hospitality concept opening in Doha, Qatar. This is a key leadership role requiring a highly engaged, hands-on operator with a deep commitment to excellence in service and team development.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting the tone for the brand’s first presence in Doha, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, building a strong team culture, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with the brand’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant with a consistent on-the-floor presence, ensuring exceptional service standards and smooth execution at all times.

Guest Experience: Champion a guest-first culture, engaging directly with customers and fostering a welcoming, high-touch environment.

Team Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team committed to excellence in hospitality.

Pre-Opening & Launch: Collaborate with senior leadership on all aspects of the pre-opening phase, from team onboarding and training to SOP implementation and supplier coordination.

Service Excellence: Maintain brand standards across all touchpoints, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the restaurant’s identity and commitment to quality.

Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate agility in a dynamic environment, responding proactively to operational challenges and evolving guest expectations.

Leadership Presence:Lead by example with a hands-on approach, inspiring the team through active involvement in all aspects of the restaurant’s daily service.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in high-end hospitality, with at least 2 years as a General Manager.

Proven track record in launching or managing successful restaurants in competitive markets.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for team development and guest engagement.

Deep understanding of service excellence in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Highly adaptable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a multicultural setting.

Strong operational and financial acumen with the ability to drive performance.
