Resident Engineer (Red Hat OpenShift & Infrastructure) Jobs in Dubai, UAE at Connect Resources
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Resident Engineer to serve as a
dedicated, onsite technical expert for a key enterprise customer. In this role, you will
act as an extension of the customer’s IT team, providing day-to-day administration,
optimization, and strategic guidance for their mission-critical Red Hat environments.
The ideal candidate will possess deep administrative expertise in Red Hat
OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and
Red Hat Satellite Server, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the
customer’s infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
? Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration
and enterprise infrastructure management.
? Container Platforms: Proven experience deploying, administering, and
troubleshooting Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (v4.x preferred) and
underlying container runtimes.
? Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL
7/8/9/10) architecture, administration, and lifecycle management.
? Infrastructure Tools: Strong, hands-on experience administering Red Hat
Satellite Server for large-scale patching, provisioning, and subscription
management.
? Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability
to build strong relationships with enterprise customers, manage stakeholder
expectations, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
