Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in stormwater and drainage systems, with a strong background in managing and supervising infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise on-site construction activities related to wet utilities, particularly stormwater and drainage systems
- Ensure all works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Review and approve technical drawings, materials, shop drawings, and method statements
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and HSE compliance
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site issues efficiently
- Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in wet utilities projects, with a strong focus on stormwater and drainage systems
- Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer on major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi standards and authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADSSC) is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
