Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservations Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this key role, you will oversee the reservations department, ensuring optimal revenue generation and exceptional guest experiences.
Lead and manage the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals
Oversee daily reservations operations, implementing effective strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy
Monitor and analyze reservation trends, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance
Ensure all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
Collaborate with revenue management, sales, and front office teams to align reservation strategies with overall business objectives
Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve escalated customer issues
Generate and analyze reports on reservations performance, providing insights to management
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and standards
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations, with a proven track record in a supervisory role
Proficiency in reservation management systems and global distribution systems (GDS)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
Demonstrated experience in revenue management
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
Proficient in time management and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends
Fluency in Arabic and English
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and cultural norms
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
