Job Description

Oversee daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficiency.

Develop and maintain the department schedule to handle calls effectively, minimizing lost calls and maximizing bookings.

Supervise, train, and support reservations staff.

Handle complex guest inquiries and resolve issues to maximize satisfaction and revenue.

Ensure prompt and professional responses to guest requests and complaints.

Collaborate with other departments for seamless guest experiences.

Maintain relationships with guests, travel agents, and corporate clients.

Anticipate guest needs and personalize service.

Manage reservation changes, cancellations, and special requests efficiently.

Generate reports on reservation statistics, occupancy, and revenue.

Foster a positive team environment and conduct regular meetings.

Perform annual reviews and succession planning.

Monitor reservation and revenue systems for accuracy.

Develop action plans to meet KPIs and forecast demand accurately.

Analyze market trends and competitor pricing for strategic decisions.

Adjust room rates based on market conditions in collaboration with Revenue Management.

Ensure rate plans are correctly indexed and distributed across channels.

Utilize revenue management tools for forecasting and maximizing revenue.

Analyze data to identify opportunities and improvements.

Prepare for weekly Rev Max meetings and coordinate with departments.

Qualifications

Higher education in tourism or hotel management.

Proficiency in English.

Relevant experience, management experience preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.

Ability to focus on guest needs, remain calm, and maintain etiquette.

Strong team player, independent, dynamic, eager to learn.

Good sales, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.

Pre-opening experience is a plus.
