Job Description

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for answering and responding effectively to all inquiries regarding hotel reservations in a knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt manner, with the goal of securing business leads.

Primary Responsibilities

Reservation Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries about hotel products and services via telephone and email according to standard guidelines.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food & beverage services, contents, preparation methods, outlets, and hotel features to promote products and services.

Understand revenue management strategies, upsell, and promote hotel facilities & services to maximize sales revenue.

Determine guest needs and quote appropriate rooms and rates accordingly.

Input booking information into the reservation system.

Process reservation amendments such as extensions or early departures.

Handle pre-payment bookings as per standard procedures.

Record special billing arrangements for groups and conventions.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Administration & Coordination

File and organize departmental documents; maintain stationery and office supplies.

Assist with administrative tasks, including attendance and training records.

Perform duties confidentially when applicable.

Report equipment failures or repair requests to Maintenance.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

Diploma education required.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in guest services or telemarketing.

Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience operating PMS systems, particularly Opera.
