Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform detailed quantity take-offs.
- Manage tendering activities, evaluate bids, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Monitor project expenditure and implement effective cost-control measures.
- Prepare valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Review and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular cost reports and commercial updates to management.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Experience in handling project variations, claims, and final account settlements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software is an advantage.
