We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to work with our client based in Qatar.
Qualifications
BSc degree in science or a technical field, preferably with certification in Maintenance/Reliability
8-10 years of experience in petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration, or similar industries, focusing on Maintenance
Strong knowledge of offshore plant and equipment, maintenance systems
Proficiency with technical manuals, PFDs, P&IDs, Datasheets, Cause and Effect Charts
Leadership experience, strong work ethic, good presentation skills, and ability to communicate technical information effectively
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Life Analysis, RAM, FMEA, and Reliability/Risk Centered Maintenance tools
Medically fit to travel offshore
Results-driven attitude
Fluent in English, including technical vocabulary
Experience with Computerized Maintenance and Inspection Management Systems, especially SAP PM module
Experience in vibration and condition-based monitoring
Responsibilities
Promote an incident-free environment within the department and with stakeholders
Perform and review Reliability-Centered Maintenance studies; support maintenance teams
Produce monthly reliability reports on critical equipment and key issues
Analyze maintenance and integrity backlog to improve performance
Lead root cause analyses and support investigations into technical failures
Focus on uptime and output losses, performing Pareto analyses and implementing elimination plans
Lead obsolescence studies and develop strategies for equipment longevity and sustainability
Identify and address top reliability issues affecting production and efficiency
Implement smart reporting using online monitoring sources
Support reliability engineering in site design and development
Monitor data quality and promote reporting improvements
Encourage reliability awareness through PALM reporting
Coach team engineers and promote cost awareness and innovation
Participate in crisis response training and emergency situations
Review and analyze CBM reports, providing summaries and recommendations
Update CBM strategies with technological advancements
