Hays have partnered with a globally recognised financial institution to identify a Relationship Manager for their team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for a client-facing banking professional to join a highly respected international platform and play a key role in developing relationships with banks and financial institutions across the GCC and wider Middle East.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing institutional client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, supporting onboarding activities, and contributing to the achievement of commercial targets. The role offers exposure across relationship management, business development, treasury, capital markets and institutional banking environments, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other institutional clients across the region
- Identify opportunities for business growth, cross-selling and client acquisition
- Manage the client onboarding process from initial engagement through to account activation
- Monitor and maintain KYC, AML and client due diligence requirements
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals and supporting marketing materials
- Support clients with product subscriptions, onboarding requirements and service-related queries
- Work closely with Compliance, Credit, Operations and other internal stakeholders throughout the client lifecycle
- Monitor client activity, profitability and business trends to identify opportunities and potential risks
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within banking or financial services
- Experience gained within Financial Institutions Coverage, Transaction Banking, Treasury, Securities Services, Custody, Capital Markets, Correspondent Banking or a related environment
- Proven relationship management experience covering banks, financial institutions, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds or institutional clients
- Strong understanding of client onboarding, KYC and AML requirements
- Demonstrated business development, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
