Strong interpersonal skills, morals, and ethics
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrates quantitative skills
Education & Qualifications:
MD/MBBS from an accredited university
Specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Formal residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation
Fellowship in rehabilitation (minimum one year)
At least two years’ experience in inpatient rehabilitation services
Successful completion of specialty training and valid Saudi Council Certificate from SCFHS
Over two years’ leadership experience
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for building and communicating the programmatic vision, and implementing the hospital’s mission, vision, and values in alignment with strategic objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:
Quality:
Oversee inpatient rehabilitation quality, including processes, safety, outcomes, and patient satisfaction
Establish practice review and development systems
Conduct systematic reviews of service quality against standards
Recommend and evaluate corrective actions
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (CBAHI, CARF, JCI, etc.)
Promote continuous improvement using CQI and Lean principles
Participate in performance improvement activities
Review and establish policies and procedures
Operations:
Manage inpatient rehabilitation operations, develop strategies, and ensure standards and performance goals are met
Develop medical protocols, performance standards, and staff competencies
Investigate staff performance or conduct issues
Support enforcement of Medical Staff regulations
Formulate professional education and staffing requirements
Participate in strategic and financial planning
Marketing and Research:
Participate in marketing and promotional activities
Maintain educational culture and relationships with the medical community
Participate in clinical practice and medical committees
Provide medical leadership to the interdisciplinary team
Ensure effective treatment planning and complex case resolution
Engage in clinical practice related to the served population
