A well reputed construction company based in in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draftsman( BIM Modeller) with a solid background in building and construction projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience working in the UAE/Gulf region, demonstrating proficiency in MEP drafting and strong technical knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare detailed MEP drawings and plans for building and construction projects.
– Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent and compliance with project specifications.
– Review and modify existing drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
– Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of drawings and specifications.
– Conduct site visits to gather information and resolve design and construction issues.
– Assist in the coordination of MEP systems with other disciplines.
– Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and technologies.
Qualifications:
– Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or a related field.
– 4-5 years of relevant MEP drafting experience in building and construction projects in the UAE/Gulf region.
– Proficiency in, REVIT, AutoCAD and other drafting software.
– Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
– Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
