Job Summary
As a Specialist Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring safe, evidence-based clinical practice while promoting recovery, independence, and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families to deliver exceptional home healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver specialized nursing care according to your clinical specialty and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced nursing procedures safely.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly recognize and report any changes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, home care, and preventive health.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration and classification as a Specialist Nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty.
- Previous home healthcare experience is an advantage.
