Regional Maintenance Manager, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering – IntlRME
Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) is hiring for a Regional Maintenance Manager!
The goal of our team is to exceed customer expectations by ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of orders. We strive to innovate and provide best-in-class service through new products and services. Amazon seeks a strategic and innovative leader to oversee maintenance, repair, and vendor management operations supporting the Delivery Station – Amazon Logistics (AMZL) across the Mexican market.
Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Key job responsibilities
The Regional Maintenance Manager will oversee multiple projects and influence relationships at all organizational levels, requiring strong vendor management skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Supplier relationship management
Manage operational relationships with third parties, delivery station support teams, and internal partners
Identify cost and efficiency improvements with vendors
Implement and execute standard operational procedures
Influence external service providers to achieve successful outcomes
Commit to continuous learning and professional development
Use data and metrics to analyze and develop business cases
Communicate insights effectively and drive positive change
Perform root cause analysis to resolve maintenance issues
Identify savings opportunities and industry best practices to enhance efficiencies
Manage vendor relationships as a primary business contact
Travel up to 50% based on business needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of employee and performance management experience
5+ years in distribution or manufacturing with mechanical or electrical expertise
7+ years in facilities management, office management, or related fields
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, or holidays
Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 level)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with electrical, mechanical, and automation controls for equipment reliability
Knowledge of conveyor systems, electrical schematics, CMMS, preventive maintenance, and industrial electronics
