Role Description
The role focuses on realistic adversary simulation to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, identify high-risk attack paths, and strengthen overall defensive capabilities, while operating under strict legal, regulatory, and ethical constraints.
Key Responsibilities
·Execute red team and adversary emulation activities across network, endpoint, identity, cloud, and application layers.
·Simulate real-world threat actor techniques aligned with MITRE ATT&CK to test detection and response capabilities.
·Identify, exploit, and clearly document security weaknesses with reproducible evidence and impact assessment.
· Collaborate with blue and purple teams to validate detections and support remediation efforts.
· Maintain strict adherence to approved scope, rules of engagement, and national security requirements.
· Produce clear, technically accurate reports suitable for both technical teams and security leadership.
· Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and common red team tooling.
· Proven ability to operate independently in sensitive, high-trust environments with a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
– Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
– 7 years minimum of experience in red team operations.
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
– Expertise in project management related to cybersecurity red team operations.
– A minimum of 10 red team engagements has technically led them.
– A minimum of one tool (not a script) developed by the candidate.
– A minimum of one research technique the candidate found, it can be bypass logging, a new way
for enumeration, a new misconfiguration in certain product.
– A minimum of one training has delivered by the candidate.
– Certified in CRTO II
